Nancy M. Renninger

Nancy M. Renninger, 91, wife of the late Franklin D. Renninger, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Chew Street. Born in Pottstown, PA, on March 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Josephine M. (Bovie) Werner. A 1952 graduate of Pottstown High School, she was the vice-President of her senior class. After graduation, she was employed by the Pottstown Mercury in the classified department for 5 years. She then enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Andrew UMC, Bechtelsville, where she was a member of the craft group and liturgist. Nancy loved to travel with her husband Franklin, and was an excellent cook. She was a volunteer for numerous years for Meals on Wheels and her church... Nancy cherished the time spent with her family. Surviving are Nancy's children, daughter Alicia Bauer, wife of Perry; daughter Marcia Snyder; son Bryan Renninger, husband of Tara; sister Sandra L. Swoyer; grandchildren Brad, Todd, and Troy Bauer; Lauren Sherry and Philip Snyder; Brent and Dylan Renninger, and Melissa Marks; great grandchildren Jordan, Lucy and Caroline Sherry, Ryan and Esme Floyd, Ivy Snyder, Nora Snyder and Luke Bauer. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Franklin. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525) with Fr. Michael Renninger officiating and Pastor Barb Seekford assisting. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's name to Saint Andrew United Methodist Church (611 Swamp Creek Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505).
