Nicholas Voltaggio Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of Nicholas A. Voltaggio announces his peaceful passing into the arms of the Lord on the evening of September 19th, 2025 at his home in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. Nick was born on June 21st, 1941 in Maspeth, NY where he met the love of his life, Jeanette Piccolo. Nick spent his career as a federal financial auditor based in Manhattan and worked throughout the country. After their retirement, Nick and his wife moved into a home they built in Pennsylvania to spend their golden years together. Nick was an Air Force veteran and aviation enthusiast, achieving amateur pilot licensure. He was a devoted husband, a devout Catholic and was known to be exceedingly generous and caring by those who survive him. Nick was predeceased by his wife, his parents, and his siblings. Nicholas lived a life of purpose, kindness, and had a deep love for his family. Uncle Nick, affectionately known as Coo Coo, leaves behind his sister-in-law, Marie Tesoriero, her husband Dominick, his nieces, Michele Tesoriero, Denise Perry, her husband Raymond, as well as his great-nephews Max and Milo Perry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory, a cause which Nicholas frequently sponsored. May he be reunited with his loving wife in heaven. A graveside service will be held Friday September 26, 2025 at 11:30am in St.Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Calling hour 10am until 11am in the funeral home.
