Norman "Linny" Romig

Norman "Linny" Romig, 96 Saturday, October 25, 2025 Norman "Linny" Romig, 96, of Gilbertsville, husband of Lucy A. (Stephen) Romig, passed away Saturday October 25, 2025 at his residence. Born in Bechtelsville, he was the son of the late Norman H. and Emma (Moser) Romig. Norman served in the US Air Force and the Merchant Marines. He was a devoted member of Butter Valley Community Church and a life member of New Hanover Fire Co. Norman was also an avid fisherman. Surviving along with his wife are his daughters Deborah L. Romig wife of Douglas VanHorn, Denise L. Romig, and Jane D. Brooker wife of Scott; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Marcus Romig. Funeral services will be held Thursday November 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Butter Valley Community Church, 2600 Old Route 100, Bally, PA 19503. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norman's memory to Butter Valley Community Church, 2600 Old Route 100, Bally, PA 19503.
