Patricia Hertzog Obituary

Patricia A. Hertzog age 84 of Ruscombmanor Township (Fleetwood) passed away on Saturday August 23, 2025 in Chestnut Hill Hospital Philadelphia, PA. She was the wife of the late Melvin B. Hertzog (Sonny) who passed away August 18, 2011 who she was married to for 49 years. Born on June 9, 1941 in Rucombmanor Township (Fleetwood), the daughter of the late Daniel E. Noll Sr. and Christiana C. (Schmid) Noll. She graduated in 1959 from Oley Valley High School. She majored in Business and excelled in Administrative Assistant skills. She had worked at J and L Manufacturing in Fleetwood and Temple Apparel in Temple as a press operator, Garden State Tannery in Fleetwood, Giorgio Foods Inc. in Blandon from where she retired. After retirement, she did seasonal work at Unique Pretzels Reading and Tarsus in Fleetwood. She was a very loving and dedicated daughter, wife, mother, sister to her 17 siblings, aunt, great aunt, friend and worker. Pat was a member of Zion's Spies Evangelical Reformed Church. She was a Born again believer. Later in life, she was baptized as an adult. She also had an interest in Hebrew Roots teaching and enjoyed programming such as the Jewish Jesus, Jewish Voice amongst others. She also enjoyed Jack Van Impe, John and Matt Hagee ministries, David Jeremiah, Jentezen Franklin amongst others and would watch Daystar, TBN and CBN networks. She enjoyed the Hallmark and Great American Family and MeTV channels and enjoyed vintage tv shows such as Little House on the Prairie, the Waltons, Perry Mason, Leave it to Beaver, Full House, The Andy Griffith Show, Matlock, Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, Bonanza, Wagon Train and other westerns, John Wayne movies in memory of my dad. She would check local 24/7 WFMZ for weather and occasionally watch Fox news. She did enjoy Christian music – old time hymns, contemporary modern, gospel, especially Elvis and Alan Jackson. She also enjoyed Hebrew Music – Joshua Aaron and Paul Wilbur amongst others. She loved the song One Day at a Time by Cristy Lane which was a favorite and I can still hear her sing it as well as Casting Crowns "Oh my Soul" and many other songs she came to enjoy. She loved her home and loved sitting on the back porch to enjoy the view and nature. She loved gardening in her younger days and loved her flowers and still enjoyed the fruits of her labor with the annual plants that kept returning. Also in her younger years she enjoyed cooking, baking and canning and shared and passed on recipes and knowledge as she was talented in all of these areas. The famous family macaroni salad recipe and spaghetti sauce, stuffed cabbage (Golumpki/Golabki), pies, cakes are some of the many she shared in. Family was extremely important to her and she enjoyed visiting with her family. She was well loved by family and she loved them as well. Lunch dates with the girls (her sisters, daughter and nieces at times) were a treat. Pat loves the Lord Yeshua (Jesus). She would pray and thank God every day for another day of life and give him all of her praise and gave honor and glory to him. She stepped into heaven, into the loving arms of Jesus Saturday August 23, 2025. Pat was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and great aunt to many, a good friend and co-worker.
