Patrick Barrie "Pat" Green

Patrick "Pat" Barrie Green, 65, passed away on March 13, 2025, at his home in Lower Pottsgrove Township, PA. Born in Allentown, PA, on June 28, 1959, he was the son of Raymond L. Green and the late Barbara A. (Whitfield) Green. Pat was a 1977 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and went on to build a dedicated career as a lab technician at Global Advanced Metals, where he worked for 46 years before retiring in 2024. Known for his strong work ethic and commitment, he took great pride in his profession. Outside of work, Pat was a lover of all kinds of music, especially folk, old blues, and rock. He was an avid artist, too, painting with watercolors and creating landscapes with wood lath. He found peace and relaxation in the wondrous outdoors, mostly fishing and birdwatching, and treasured every moment spent with his family. He is lovingly remembered by his sons, David and Justin Green, husband of Daniel Chilcote; his five cherished grandchildren; his father, Raymond Green; and his siblings, Richard Green and Carol McCauslin. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip and Kenneth Green. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on March 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment afterward at New Hanover Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, 2941 Lutheran Rd., Gilbertsville, PA 19525. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA.
