Patrick Joseph Greene

Patrick Joseph Greene, age 66 of Blakeslee, PA passed away with his loving family at his side on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House in East Stroudsburg, PA. Patrick was the loving husband of Janice M. (Cifu) Greene. They celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary on April 26th. He was born in County Wexford, Ireland on April 21, 1959, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Kavanagh) Greene. Patrick worked at Wal-Mart Distribution Center as a security guard in Bethlehem for many years. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony, PA. When his children were young, he coached their soccer team and was a Boy Scout Leader. Patrick was an avid aquarist, cyclist, gym enthusiast, he also loved gardening and was a real jokester. We have been blessed with the presence of Patrick in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife: Janice M. (Cifu) Green of Blakeslee, PA, his children: Melissa Barrett and husband Joshua of Effort, PA and Daniel Green and wife Jacqueline of Kunkletown, PA. He was the loving grandfather to: Conor and Sofie Greene. Patrick is also survived by five siblings: Mary Kinsella, Elizabeth Murphy, Anna Greene, Andrew Greene, and John Greene all of Ireland and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM, Friday, May 30, 2025, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Lake Harmony, PA. Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 6-8 pm with vigil prayers at 8 pm.
