Randolph "Randy" Jones

Randolph "Randy" Jones, of Effort, PA passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his home. Randy was born in Norfolk, VA on July 19, 1955, son of Catherine (Issac) Jones of Chesapeake, VA and the late James Jones. He was the loving husband of Linda (Nossek) Jones. They would have celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary on October 5th. He was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church in East Stroudsburg, PA. After graduating high school Randy worked as a Merchant Marine for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Norfolk. VA. Randy had worked as a certified addiction counselor for the Colorado Department of Corrections in Colorado. He was a former active member of New Spirit Church in Colorado Springs, CO. Randy was also a Certified Operating Room Technician in Norfolk, VA We have been blessed with the presence of Randy in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife: Linda (Nossek) Jones of Effort, PA, his mother: Catherine (Issac) Jones of Chesapeake, VA. his children: Justin Jones and spouse Wendy of Maryland, Brandi Jones and spouse Deon of Virginia, Randall Jones and spouse Ashley of Virginia and Candice Andersen and spouse Sherill of TX. He is also survived by many grandchildren, his siblings: Jimmy Jones and spouse Paula of Colorado, Clarissa Jones of Virginia, Robert Jones of Virginia, Ray Jones and spouse Corrine of Pennsylvania, Cliff Jones and spouse Pamela of Virginia and Renita Prince and spouse Kevin of Florida and nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his father: James Jones, his siblings: Reggie, Daryl, Kevin and Barbara Ann Jones. No services are scheduled at this time.
