Raymond Matthew Barron

Raymond Matthew Barron, 59, of Walnutport, PA died Sunday, August 17, 2025 in his home. Born in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Ronald E. and Sharma L. (Rook) Barron. A 1984 graduate of Freedom High School, Raymond then joined the United States Army. When he came home, he continued his education at Lehigh Carbon Community College graduating from the Aviation Program. Raymond was a flight instructor for several years at the Lansdale Airport. He retired from Northampton Country Club after more than 25 years of service on the grounds crew. A 32nd Degree Mason, Raymond was a member of Easton Lodge No. 152, Rajah Shrine in Reading, PA, and the Tin Lizzies Forks of the Delaware. An avid bowler, he formerly participated on the Sunday Mixed League at Bar-Don Lanes, Easton. He was a faithful Miami Dolphins and Penn State Fan. He enjoyed watching the Phillies with his nephew Rodney, Jr. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Farmersville, PA. Survivors: Brothers, Edward Barron and his wife Kelly of Bethlehem, Rodney Barron of Easton; sister, Stacey Hartz and her husband Michael of Easton; step-mother, Cheryl Barron of Walnutport; nephews, Rodney Barron, Jr., Justin Hartz, Tristian Hartz; great nephews, Rodney III, Connor; great niece, Juniper. Service: Memorial Service 6:00PM Friday, August 22, 2025 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem.
