Renee Moyer

Renee (Kehl) Moyer, 67 of Boyertown, PA, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert A. Moyer Jr., with whom she shared 23 years of marriage until his passing on March 9, 2000. Born in Pottstown, PA, on December 22, 1957, Renee was the daughter of the late Albert K. Kehl Sr. and Mary J. (Ludy) Kehl. Renee began her career as a paraprofessional at Boyertown Elementary School before becoming a billing coordinator at Quest Diagnostics, where she worked until her retirement in 2015. Renee loved expressing her creativity through crafting, scrapbooking, and sewing. She enjoyed reading to strengthen her faith while sipping a hot cup of coffee. She found joy in the simple beauty of nature - especially birdwatching and admiring flowers. Renee loved the beach and loved to sing "On the Way to Cape May." She was a member of New Ridge Fellowship in Gilbertsville, where she found spiritual connection and a sense of community. Above all, Renee treasured her relationships. Her girlfriends were her greatest support, and nothing meant more to her than her family - especially her children and grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. Renee is lovingly remembered by her children, Stacey Moyer, Robert (Mary Shah) Moyer III, Christopher (Shannon Dise) Moyer, and Joshua Moyer; her grandchildren, Steffanie Moyer, Sonali Shah, Christian Moyer, Quinten Shah, and Robert "Alton" Moyer IV; her siblings, Barbara Shafer, Albert (Connie) Kehl Jr., Bruce (Pam) Kehl, and Keith Kehl; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved grand-dog, a Chocolate Lab named Lager. In addition to her husband and parents, Renee was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Cheryl Kehl. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Community Church, 1130 Commerce Drive, Pottstown, PA 19464. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Union Cemetery in Boyertown, PA.
