Richard C. Palmer, Sr., 78, of East Lemon passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at home surrounded by his family after a long illness.
Born in Kingston, PA on March 25, 1946, he is the son of the late Roger Palmer and Avis Jayne Palmer Bugely. He was married for 59 years to Suzanne Sprague.
He graduated from Forty Fort High School. He worked at Marvel Kitchens, was a painter for Jones Paint Service in Forty Fort as well as Procter and Gamble in Mehoopany for 26 years. He also worked for Endless Mountains Water and before his illness at Car Quest, Tunkhannock.
He loved spending time with his family and being outdoors. He also enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycle, and antique cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Richard Palmer, Jr. (Helene) of Pittson; daughter, Chelsea Stelzer (Cody) of Iowa; grandsons, Terry Palmer (Bobbi-Jo) of Lake Carey, Joshua Palmer (April) of East Lemon, Gabe Stelzer of Iowa; step-grandson, Joey Dweck; granddaughters, Neveah, Piper, Cordy Stelzer; step-granddaughter, Marcy Dweck; 11 great-grandchildren.
Per his wishes there will be no service at this time. A remembrance of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
