Robert G. "Bobby" Bowes

Robert "Bobby" G. Bowes, 77, of Stroudsburg, died Saturday evening, September 20, 2025, while under hospice care in his home. He was the husband of Cindie Lyn (Bothner) Bowes with whom he shared seven years of marriage. Born on September 5, 1948 in South Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late George and Mildred Bowes and lived in Harrisburg and Carteret, NJ prior to moving to Monroe County. He worked at Home Depot. Bobby was a member of the Moose Lodge #1336 and Hungarian Reformed Church of Carteret, NJ; and he was a supporter of Monroe County Special Olympics. He enjoyed motorcycles, helping operate his little family farm and going out to dinner with family and friends. In addition to his wife, surviving are a daughter, Kim Sokirynsky and husband Alex of Hopatcong, NJ; a granddaughter, Emily Sokirynsky of Hopatcong, NJ; two step-sons, Patrick Brammer and Steven Brammer both of Stroudsburg; a step-daughter, Lisa Bell and husband Chris of East Stroudsburg; and four god-children, Tammy Theresa Rose, Rosie DiPaolo, Frankie Izzo and Julian Gutierrez. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Patricia Bowes. There will be viewing hours on Monday, September 29th, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM and 3:00 to 5:00PM at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Monroe County Special Olympics, P.O.
