Robert M. Cesare

Robert M. Cesare, 93, of Lehighton, PA, passed away peacefully in his home on August 13, 2025. Born December 5, 1931, in Pen Argyl, PA. Robert was the son of John J. and Mary (Schiavone) Cesare. He was predeceased in death by his beloved wife, Mary (Halada) Cesare, and his son, Terry Cesare. A proud entrepreneur, Robert owned and operated Cesare's Fashion, in Slatington, and later Cesare's Apparel in Danielsville, PA, leaving a mark on the local community with his dedication and hard work. Beyond his professional life, Robert was known for his unwavering love of horses, a passion he fostered throughout his years, by owning and caring for many horses. In his later years he found joy in watching auto racing and especially horse races. He would never bet money on horses, but he would always track what he would have won! Robert enjoyed baking, especially his famous apple pie. His constant companion was his cat, Sweetie, whom he loved dearly. In the early morning you could always find Robert having his coffee by his pool enjoying the sunshine as the birds chirped. Robert will be dearly missed by his daughter, Marianne Mickalowski, of New Jersey, his sons, Robert D. Cesare and wife Wendy, of Palmerton, PA, and Mario J. Cesare of Lehighton, PA; his five grandchildren, Alisa Reto (Alan), Nicholas Cesare (Katherine), Richard Danner, Brandyn Cesare and Karly Cesare, as well as 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, his caregiver, Robin Miller, and his cat, Sweetie. In addition to his parents, wife and son, Robert was predeceased by his siblings, Amelia Scott, Thomas, Victor, and John Cesare. Services: At the convenience of the family.
