Robert Wayne Kohler

Robert Wayne Kohler, 83, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at his home in Bechtelsville, PA. He was the devoted husband of Mary Ann (Kline) Kohler, with whom he shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Zionsville, PA, on September 24, 1941, Bob was the son of the late Adolph and Edna (Kistler) Kohler. A 1959 graduate of Emmaus High School, Bob went on to own and operate BK Upholstery Inc. in Boyertown, PA. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting. He was also an avid gun collector. Above all, Bob cherished spending time with his family-his greatest pride and joy. Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary; his children, Wayne (Sharon) Kohler, Dean (Melody) Kohler, Scott Kohler, and DeAnn (Godfre) Kohler; his daughter-in-law, Connie Kohler; 18 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Robert Kohler, and his sister, Doreen Sautter. A time for family and friends to gather and remember Bob will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Bob's name to New Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2960 W. Philadelphia Ave., Oley, PA 19547.
