Robert Sterner Obituary

Robert W. Sterner, 89 of Catasauqua, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Care, Allentown. Born March 10, 1935 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry and Theresa (Betz) Sterner and husband of the late Mary Ann (Gillette) Sterner. He was a supervisor for Mack Trucks, in Allentown and Macungie for twenty-two years before retiring in 1986. He honorably served in the US Army from 1958 until 1960 and was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Egypt, Egypt.. Robert was a member of the Coplay Saegerbund and the Northampton Hungarian Club. He was also a member of the former St. Nicholas Club. Survivors: He is survived by sons, Jeffery H. Sterner and wife Jeannie of New Market, VA and James R. Sterner of Bethlehem, daughter, Kathleen M. wife of Daniel Kotran of Coplay, sisters, Patricia Bendekovits of Coplay, and Shirley wife of Gary George of Allentown, grandchildren Daniel, Christopher, Robbie, and William, great grandchildren, Wyatt, Flynn, Colsin, and Bailor. He was predeceased by sister, Mary Fatzinger. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton.
