Robin A. Steiner

Robin A. Steiner, 71, of Stowe, PA, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, at Reading Hospital. He was the devoted husband of the late Mary L. (Sassaman) Steiner, with whom he shared 36 wonderful years of marriage until her passing on August 28, 2017. Born in Pottstown, PA, on July 28, 1954, Robin was the son of the late Aaron and Dorothy (Gonda) Steiner. Robin graduated from Pottsgrove High School in 1972 and dedicated his career to the Pottsgrove School District, where he worked as a custodian for many years before retiring in 2003. A proud and lifelong member of the Reading Motorcycle Club in Oley, PA, Robin was passionate about motorcycles and had just received his "Old Timers" card, marking 25 years of membership. He was also an avid firearms enthusiast and a member of the South Birdsboro Archery Rod & Gun Club. Music was one of Robin's greatest loves-especially the blues. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and listening to his favorite band, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Robin also had a spirit for adventure, traveling to Brazil, Germany, France, and Amsterdam. Above all, his greatest happiness came from time spent with his family. Robin will be dearly missed by his children, Shannon Steiner and Ryan (Kimberly) Steiner; his grandson, RJ (Faith) Steiner; and his loyal pit bull, Laney. In addition to his wife and parents, Robin was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Steiner. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Robin's life on Saturday, October 4, 2025, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m., with inurnment afterwards at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 E. Arcadia Dr., Limerick, PA 19468. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robin's memory to Gift of Life Donor Program.
