Ronald Cortright Obituary

Ronald R. Cortright, 82 of Columbia Avenue, West Catasauqua, Whitehall Township, PA, died suddenly Friday morning, September 12, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Mrs. Alice M. (Sterling) Cortright since February 15, 1969. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert C. and Emma Mae (Kocher) Cortright. Ronald was employed in the custodial services department of Walmart, Whitehall, until retiring. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for the former Two Guys from Harrison Department Store, Whitehall. Ronald also worked in the frozen food department of both Weis Markets, Whitehall, and Allentown, and for the former Newhart's Foods. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Coplay. Ronald enjoyed NASCAR, Jeff Gordon #24, and Philadelphia professional sports, Eagles football, and Phillies baseball. Survivors: Wife. Son, Joshua D. of Whitehall. Sister, Shirley wife of Richard Berger of Shenandoah, Schuylkill County. Several nieces and nephews. Beloved tabby cat, Sherlock. He was predeceased by a brother, Bernard.
