Ronald Deemer Obituary

Ronald W. Deemer, 65, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, in St. Luke's Hospital-Bethlehem. He gave the Gift of Life as an organ donor. Born March 4, 1960, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Melvin R. Deemer and Anna M. (Paff) Rooks. Ron graduated from Easton Area High School, Class of 1979. He retired as a self-employed carpenter. Ron was a NASCAR, NFL and Easton Red Rovers football fan. He was a member of YMIA, Phillipsburg, where he served on the board. Surviving are four children, Mark, Janell, James and Olivia; two sisters, Susanne Liberti and Kathleen Kaufman, both of Fort Worth, TX and a brother, Kevin Deemer, of Easton; an infant grandson, Jay; a Godson, Brent Deats; a niece, Leanne Deats and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Terry Deemer, Sr. and David Deemer and a sister, Anna Marie Booze. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 17th from 6-8:30pm in YMIA, 320 Mercer Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.
