Rose Ball Obituary

Rose Mary Ball, 74, of Plainfield Township, formerly of Easton, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hecktown Oaks. Born May 8, 1950, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Harold Gunderman, Sr., and Mary E. (VanHorn) Gunderman. Her husband of 47 years, Clinton H. Ball, Sr., passed away August 1, 2017. Rose was a graduate of Warren Hills High School. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed word search, crossword puzzles and country music. Surviving is a daughter, Carol VanHorn and her husband Leonard Jr., of Parryville, PA; a son, Clinton H. Ball, Jr., and his wife Cindy, of Wind Gap; three brothers, Alfred Gunderman, of Allentown, Dale Gunderman, Sr., of Easton, and David Gunderman, of Palmerton; three sisters, Pearl Polanczyk, of Belvidere, NJ, Linda Cole, of Oxford, NJ, and Bonnie Weller, of Easton; four grandchildren, Nacole Gitto and her husband Jeff, Elizabeth VanHorn, Leonard VanHorn III and Antoinette Ball; ten great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Danikka, Makenzi, Leonard IV, Matthew, Dominic, Layla, Aedon, Piper and Landen; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Harold Gunderman, Jr., a sister, Gail Gunderman, and a grandson, Clinton Ball III. Private services are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
