Royden Overholtzer Obituary

Royden Overholtzer, 88, of Lansdale, husband of the late Virginia (Snyder) Overholtzer who passed away in October 2021, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at his home. Born in Sellersville, and raised in Harleysville, he was a graduate of Souderton High School. He worked at Harleysville Insurance before a 41 year Office Service career at Gasboy International,Lansdale. He was a lifelong active member of Christ Lutheran Church, Harleysville. He enjoyed 61 years of marriage to his beloved Virginia. Royden cherished his family vacations to West Virginia, news and news media pursuits, noted for his ironic humor and following the growth and progress of his children and grandchildren with Virginia. Along with his wife and parents he is predeceased by his twin brother Robert. He is survived by sons James and his wife Renee, Gary and his wife Janis; and David and his wife Amy, along with grandchildren Matthew, Allison, Kirsten, wife of Nick, Jude and Alex. Visitation will be Monday, October 6, 2025 from 5:00PM to 5:45PM at Christ Lutheran Church, 2211 Mainland Rd, Harleysville, PA 19438 with a memorial service to begin at 6:00PM.
