Ruth Jean Noctor

Ruth Jean (Nehilla) Noctor, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill. Beloved wife to the late Robert "Bob" F. Noctor, who passed away on August 7, 2018, and devoted mother of John and Daniel. Ruth was born in Bethlehem, on May 30, 1935 to the late John A. and Beatrice (Willoughby) Nehilla. Ruth was a homemaker, an excellent baker and a very kind, generous and loving person. She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic Church; formally SS Cyril and Methodius where she was a very active in the church community. As a Legion of Mary member, she prayed the rosary twice daily for decades and she also prayed for a long list of individuals. SURVIVORS: Ruth will be missed by her children: John (wife, Donna) Noctor of Zionsville; Daniel (wife, Diane) Noctor of Hellertown; siblings: Rosemarie (husband, Leonard) Feist of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Luke (wife, Sara) Sweatlock and Alec (wife, Shanna) Noctor; great grandchildren: John, Lilliana, and Cala. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother Jim and sisters Shirley and Dorothy. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic Church, 617 Pierce Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 and again on Thursday morning at 9 A.M. at the church. Burial will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, 2575 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Ruth's services have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
