Ruth Ziegler Obituary

Ruth Ann (Benjamin) Ziegler, a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the Atrium of Allentown. She was 71. Born on September 4, 1953, in Allentown, Ruth was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Moyer) Benjamin. She graduated from Brandywine Heights High School in 1971 and went on to a long career as a Market Specialist at Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., where she worked from 1994 until her retirement in 2021. Ruth found immense happiness in life's simple pleasures. She was a proud member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus, where she enjoyed meeting up with friends, and also loved to crochet and explore new places, with Aruba holding a special place in her heart as her favorite travel destination. However, her true passion was being a grandmother. When her grandchildren, Edyn and Harrison, were born, she described it as the "happiest day of my life," a testament to the profound love she had for them. They were the absolute loves of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Ziegler, and daughter-in-law, Marisa (Manorek) Ziegler, her beloved grandchildren, Edyn and Harrison, and her siblings, Albert "Jack" Benjamin Jr., Debra (Joe) Foster, Keith Benjamin, and Todd Benjamin. A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association c/o Schmoyer Funeral Home, PO Box 190, Breinigsville, PA 18031. Condolences may be offered in Ruth's memory at schmoyerfuneralhome.com.

My sincere condolences. I worked with Ruth for many years at Air Products, and enjoyed talking with her. She had the best smile! I'm grateful that I got to know her and I wish God's comfort to her family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ruth´s passing. I loved working with her, but I especially loved running into her at Country Meadows where we both had family members living. We stopped in to see her occasionally at Clover Hill also. I will miss her.
