Sandra Lee Muschlitz

Sandra Lee (Weiss) Muschlitz, 78, formerly of Hellertown, of Cape Coral FL died at her residence. She was the husband of the Honorable Benajmin F. Muschlitz former Mayor of the Borough of Hellertown. They were married for 55 years. Sandy was born in Easton PA on December 16, 1946 to Bessie (White) Weiss and George A. Weiss. She worked as an Accounting Associated at Packaging Corporation of America until her retirement in 2008. Sandy was a graduate of Hellertown High School and studied Accounting and Finance at Churchman's Business College. She was Past President of the Saucon Valley Jaycettes, Past President of the GFWC Women's Club of Hellertown, a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Past President of the Bethlehem City Council of Beta Sigma Phi, served on the Board of the Saucon Valley Community Center, and was a member of the Lehigh Valley Muscular Dystrophy Association. She enjoyed helping her husband as First Lady while he was the Mayor of Hellertown especially the weddings he performed. She traveled extensively and completely around the world. She will be remembered for her great love of animals. At Sandy's request, services will be private. Please keep Sandy's memory alive by sharing special thoughts and hearing that infectious laugh.
