Sandy Antonio Urena

Sandy Antonio Urena, 54, currently residing in Elkins Park, died unexpectedly on July 11th, 2025. He was born in New York, NY on August 12, 1970 to the late Elpidio and Praxides Urena. Sandy was a highly regarded employee of Beretta Company in New York for 20 years. He is a prominent DJ who played his House music to bring joy & light into this world. He was also a skilled carpenter and house remodeling professional. Sandy loved music, hosting parties, and bringing people together with his light and music talents. He was a dear father, friend, and sibling. He was always reliable and always present when needed. Sandy is survived by his two daughters Marleni Urena and Elenis Urena, 3 grandchildren Callie Jane Urena, Alana Ellis Urena, Ari Elizabeth Gomez, 4 sisters Janet Urena, Faelina Urena, Claribel Urena, Malik Urena, Alicia Urena, and his niece and nephews, Vanessa Vega, Justin Hidalgo, Tristan Vega and Tyler Vega. Relatives and friends are invited to a Viewing from 3-6 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 516 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA. Interment will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd., Paramus, NJ.
