Seth Chuck Obituary
Seth A. Chuck, 53, passed away peacefully in Bethlehem, PA on June 18, 2025. Born on May 7, 1972, in Fountain Hill, PA, Seth's life was a melody composed of music, love, and torrents of the soul.
Seth's early years were filled with the love and warmth of a close-knit family. He was the beloved son of Robin (Rohn) Durso and her husband, John of Emmaus, and the late William Chuck. Seth shared a special bond with his sister, Alyssha Eve Csük of Wassergass who went to the moon and beyond for him. He also shared a special bond with his cousin Cheyenne Rose of Emmaus who idolized him and regarded him as a Big Brother. His extended family, including one surving grandparent, His grandmother, Erma (Kroboth) Chuck of Bethlehem, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends, who played a symphony of support and camaraderie that Seth treasured deeply.
A man whose heart danced to the rhythm of music, Seth's passion for playing the guitar was evident to all who knew him. His love for music was a constant companion, providing a soundtrack to his life's adventures. Seth's ability to engage and infectious spirit were a beacon of light or a dark arrow at gatherings, where he was often the heart and soul of the party. He was known for his free-spirited nature.
The ocean was Seth's sanctuary, where he found solace and time in equal measure. Riding his boogie board atop the waves for hours on end,. His connection to the ocean was a testament to his love for being immersed in the present and embracing each moment with open arms and a fearless heart.
As we bid farewell to Seth, we celebrate a life that, though too short, and though he often floated on a dark and stormy sea, the lighthouse was always on. Though Seth's legacy is often drowned in sorrow of the bottle, he somehow reminded us to cherish every laugh, every song, and every wave that life offers.
Seth's memory will be carried in the hearts of those who loved him, and his spirit will continue to resonate in the music he adored and the ocean he revered. As the sun sets on his time with us, we find solace in knowing that Seth's journey continues beyond the horizon, where the music never fades and the waves roll on forever.
Seth's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and nurses who went the extra mile and showed real support and compassionate care throughout his difficult journey with addiction. Their dedication and kindness at times were sources of comfort and peace for Seth and his loved ones.
