Sharon A. Weise, a lifelong beacon of love and generosity, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on August 12, 2025, in St. Lukes hospital Carbon Campus,Lehighton, PA. Born on June 22, 1954, in Monongahela, PA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Alfred and Mildred (Dvorchak) Hughes.
Sharon's radiant spirit was a guide to all who knew her, and she navigated life with thoughtfulness that touched countless hearts. A graduate of Bishop Conwell High School, she manifested her creativity and zest for life into a passion for beauty, pursuing a career as a cosmetologist. Her dedication to her craft led her to inspire those who sat in her chair, and she invested 40 joy-filled years into this art. She was also the proud owner and operator of Hair and More in Jim Thorpe, where her warm presence became a staple in the community.
Sharon's commitment to service extended beyond her profession as she was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Lake Harmony, where her faith and loving nature found a home among like-minded souls.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sharon's true pride and joy were her family. Her beloved husband Dennis, her daughter Kimberly, her daughter Karen Rice, and her sons Marc and Jason, were the center of her universe. She was a cherished grandmother to Andrew, Rylan, Jaxton, and Colson, sharing with them the warmth of her love and the wisdom of her years.
In the reflections of her dear ones, Sharon's legacy is one of endless benevolence and care. She gave selflessly, showing through actions the depth of her love. Sharon Weise was a remarkable woman who graced this world with her presence, and she will be deeply missed and forever celebrated by her family and all the lives she gracefully touched. Her journey through life was marked by an elegance that resonated in her every deed-a narrative of a life abundantly lived and generously shared.
