To know Mom is to love her. She was such a gentle soul who was devoted to her church and her family. From all the memories that I had of Mom, I can't recall a time when I did not feel loved by her, even as her daughter in law. I hear horror stories people tell about their mother in laws, and I can never relate because obviously they weren't as blessed as me, with mine. I can still hear her voice telling me how tiny I am whenever she hugs me, and I will always remember the first time I drove her somewhere, and did not know until later after she confessed to a family member that she was so nervous because, to quote Mom, "she drives fast!". I am greatly blessed to have known this beautiful lady. She will remain my beloved mother in law forever in my heart.
