Sonia Ruiz Obituary

Sonia Maria Ruiz, 60 years old, Allentown, PA passed away May 11, 2025. Sonia relocated from the Bronx to Allentown with her number one priorities, her three sons, Frank Jr., Juan Anthony, and Angel Luis Arroyo. They supported each other continuously, and her sons gifted her 14 wonderful grandchildren. She had interests in creativity, fashion, music, and dancing. In grade school, she played the clarinet and was accepted into the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she spent her first year of high school before transferring to Christopher Columbus High School. Before her professional career in Hospitality Management, Sonia worked at Step-In Lounge in Parkchester, Lehman Brothers, Inc., and was a front desk manager with Hilton Hotels. Sonia was a consummate professional and always recognized for her smile, patience, and customer service expertise. She is survived by her sons Frank Arroyo Jr. and Anthony Arroyo, her father Rosendo Ruiz, and her siblings Maribel, Jay, Roberto, Jalil, Frank, and Laila Ruiz. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Raven Soboleski, her grandchildren, Giovanni, Anthony, Angelee, Angel, Jadon, Joseph, Eli, Nina, Midey, Millie, Raina, Julian, Maelee and Atlas, and her fiancé Stephen Torres.
