Spencer Jesse Wisner, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 29, 2025. He was 84 years old. He was the husband to Martha M. (Heckman) Wisner, in which they shared 49 years of love and memories, happily married.
Spencer was born on May 2, 1941 in Moore Twp. to the late Richard and Esther (Huber) Wisner
Spencer was a dedicated and hardworking individual, whose career spanned various fields. He began his journey as a dairy farmer in Moore Township, where his connection to the land and animals reflected his nurturing spirit. He also honed his skills as an appliance repairman and worked in construction and as an electrician. Spencer ultimately found fulfillment in the insurance and investments sector, retiring after a long and successful career in sales.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Spencer was immensely proud of his family. He and his cherished wife, Martha, were looking forward to celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in May 2026. Together, they built a life rich in love and shared values. Spencer's commitment to service extended beyond his family as he also achieved the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout, embodying the principles of leadership and perseverance that he instilled in those around him. He will be remembered for his warm spirit and his passion for country music, which filled his home with joy and rhythm.
Along with his wife Martha, Spencer is survived by his children, Sherry Nikisher (Theresa), Kevin Wisner (Rachelle), Dawn Rogers (John), Toby Dunlap (Denise); grandchildren, Matthew Nikisher, Lauren Nikisher, Marlaina Dunlap; sister, Sandra Pfeiffer as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predecesed by his son, Brian Dunlap and siblings, Harold Wisner, Omogene Hahn, Kathryn Roth, Althea Kneller.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 in the Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath (Emanuelsville), PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Emmanuel Union Church Cemeterty. Following graveside services a luncheon will be held.
