Stephen Fair Obituary

Stephen R. Fair, age 42, of Quakertown, beloved son of Richard and Nina Fair, of East Greenville, passed away at home in his sleep after an illness recently. He was born May 16, 1983 in Allentown, PA, and grew up in Coopersburg and East Greenville. He was a 2001 honors graduate of Southern Lehigh High School and received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University in 2005, where he was also a member of Theta Delta Chi fraternity. After graduation, he was a Systems Application Engineer and Manager at SST/ADT/Tyco/Johnson Controls for over 17 years. His work took him to many high-profile facilities, including the U.N., major New York banks, and various petrochemical companies. Stephen's passion was for designing and making things out of metal and wood, and he had created many useful and decorative items over the years. He also was an avid amateur photographer and loved taking pictures at Lake Nockamixon and on his U.S. and European travels. He loved motorcycles, Mustangs, Penn State football, and all the Philadelphia sports teams. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Brianna, his grandmother, Verna Fair, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ellen and Herbert Roeder of Warrington and his paternal grandfather, Abram Fair of Emmaus. Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, PA.
