I'm so sorry to hear of Stewart's passing. Our paths first crossed at Lehigh, when Stewart was finishing up the doctoral program in school psychology and I was just starting it. Later, Stewart was my supervisor for an internship I did at the Devereux Kanner Center, where Stewart was the Director of Clinical Services. Stewart was a great supervisor and an amazing role model; always friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I know the students and faculty in the Lehigh school psychology program had great respect for Stewart, as did his friends and colleagues at Devereux. His was a life well-lived. Sending my sincere condolences to his family and friends. May his memory be a blessing.

So sad. I worked closely with Stuart in my capacity as Chief Clinical Officer and Director of Devereux´s internship program. Stuart was an astute clinician and excelled in his supervision of his psychologist trainees. Above all ,he was a really nice person and a pleasure to interact with.

So saddened to hear of Stewart's passing. He was such a kind and generous person who affected my life immeasurably. He served on my dissertation committee in grad school and later was responsible for connecting me with a growing unit at Devereux that later developed into a dream job when I moved back to the area. I looked forward to running into him at meetings and will always remember him with a smile and something nice to say. My sincere condolences to his family.

Ruth- I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Stewart. I had hired him in 1993 at Devereux and enjoyed both a long
friendship and professional relationship with him for over twenty years.
Sending my deepest sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. May you have the courage and strength to face the days ahead by reflecting on the many wonderful memories that you will hold in your heart forever-

I've known Stewart since he was a doctoral student at Lehigh. Although we had a professor-student relationship, we also became friends, with a professional friendship that lasted many years. Stewart was a fine human being, who worked hard to make a true difference in the lives of people with disabilities. I have always respected him, his passion, and kindness to others. The last time I saw him at a conference, he said, "Linda, I have to tell you about my experience at Medjugorje." Sadly we didn't have the chance to discuss it, but I owe it to Stewart to follow up. My heartfelt condolences to Ruth, family, and friends.

Best times were vacations at the Paradox in Lake Placid. Sitting in the living room and laughing until we just about cried. He will be so missed. He will be the "hiking diva" in heaven. Sincere condolences to Ruth, Deb, and family.

Stewart was a wonderful man. Smart, articulate and a great therapist and expert in mental health, autism and developmental disabilities. He helped many adolescents & adults. I remember always looking forward to chatting a bit with Stewart when our paths crossed at work. He was always warm & considerate with a nice wry sense of humor. My thoughts and condolences are with Stewart´s family and friends.

What a wonderful man. Sending prayers and condolences to Ruth and his family. I had the pleasure of doing some painting at there homes on a few occasions. My wife who also recently passed worked with Stewart and loved every encounter they shared. Enjoyed a Springsteen concert with Ruth & Stewart, I believe in Hershey years ago. My Cindy and him are rocking it in heaven with Clarence C. and Danny F. As I speak. RIP Stewart.
