Suzanne Litzenberger Obituary

Suzanne Litzenberger, 46, of Emmaus, PA, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Michael D. Litzenberger. Born in Lock Haven, PA, she was the daughter of Donald Yeager and Margaret (Maher) Johnston. Suzanne was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and Mansfield University. She worked as a property manager at Spring Creek Apartments in Macungie for 25 years and was a licensed Real Estate Agent. She and her husband met at the Dunkin Donuts in Mansfield and were married for 22 years. Suzanne was the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful person. She always put others first. She stayed positive even when she was undergoing treatments that made her feel terrible. She liked lilies, the color purple, a nice bottle of wine, and any show on HGTV, but she loved her kids and supported them in all their activities. She had a smile that made you feel warm inside, and she will be missed terribly. Survivors: Husband; Father and his wife, Leanna; Mother and her husband, David; Son, Benjamin Litzenberger; Daughter, Kathryn Litzenberger; Mother-in-Law, Roberta Litzenberger; Father-in-Law, Robert Litzenberger; Brothers, John Yeager and his wife, Carey, and their children, Charlie, Natalie and Rachel, Jim Yeager and his wife, Fran, and their son, Joshua; and Brother-in-Law, Bryan Litzenberger and his wife, Renee, and their children, Calvin and Paige. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus. I apologize for not writing this sooner. I just found out about her passing. She was always a cheerful friendly soul even when she was going through treatment. She was a bright light in this world. I knew her from Spring Creek. I moved here as a scared single mom and she made me feel safe and welcomed. We often spoke about parenting and family. She was an incredible person and loved her family dearly. Her kids are her legacy. She spoke about them every time I saw her and she was so proud to be their mom. I hope they can find the strength to carry her love close their hearts forever. My heart aches for her husband, kids and family. It´s such a loss. She was well loved and cherished.

I lived at Spring Creek for 5 years and got to know Suzanne very well. She was truly one of kindest people I have ever met. She lit up that clubhouse every single day. What a lady she was. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms.

My most sincere and wholehearted condolences to Suzanne´s husband, children and family. Her passing is truly heartbreaking for all of us who had a chance to know her and interact with her. Although so very busy dealing with variety of issues, demands and unexpected events, she always had time for us, the tenants. As a tenant, I will never stop admiring her remarkable patience, a desire to help and offer reasonable solutions. As a person, I will always admire her strength, wisdom, sense of humor and willingness to share her deep thoughts about complexity of our lives. Suzanne will always have a special place in my memory. And a place in my heart also. Rest peacefully Suzanne.
