Sylvia Eilber Obituary

Sylvia Eilber It's with great sadness that the family of Sylvia Eilber (née Keller) announce her passing on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the age of 86 years old. Her final moments were spent at Hospice House with her children and loved ones by her side. Sylvia was born on Jan. 25 1939 in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania to Lawerence and Goldie Keller. After graduating from Stroudsburg High School she married Ted Eilber, with whom she spent 66 years of marriage. Sylvia is predeceased by Ted by 3 short months. Sylvia and Ted shared a love of fishing in New York State and spent their retirement years enjoying their vacation home and boat on the lakes. Sylvia also loved to work around her home and in the yard tending to her many flower beds. She never missed an episode of General Hospital and was happiest surrounded by her family and friends. Syl's good humor and beautiful smile touched everyone she came in contact with and everyone who knew her. Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her sons and their wives, Teddy and Debra, Terry and Ruthann, and her five grand children Shannon, Terry J., Travis, Cody and Tyler; and her six great grand children, Trevor, Julie, Rylann, Tenley, Lane and Talon. She will also be missed by her brother Harold (Bud) and his wife Sandy; her sister Gen (Sis) Commodore and family; her long life best friend Marion Fish and many other treasured friends. There will be no services, a private celebration of life will be held by the family later this year.
