Timothy Midas Obituary

Timothy J. "Tim" Midas, 76, of Lansford, passed away on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital-Carbon Campus in Lehighton. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Marie "Mamie" (Kadilak) Kershner. He was a graduate of Panther Valley High School, Class of 1968. Tim worked as an Independent Contractor in Carpentry and Masonry. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a former member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Lansford. Tim was a member of the Lansford American Legion Post 123 for 46 years, having served as a past Home Association President as well as holding various other officer and committee positions throughout the years. He was member of the American Fire Co. #1 of Lansford and a former Lansford Borough Council member. He was an avid Eagles fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Surviving is his Son, Tim Midas, currently serving in the Coast Guard and residing in Arlington, VA; Brothers, Tom Midas and his wife Judy of Summit Hill and Thad Midas and his wife Marie of Palmerton; Nephew, Zach Midas and his girlfriend Megan Weber of Bethlehem. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions, in Tim's memory, may be made to the Lansford American Legion Post 123, 3 W. Ridge St., Lansford, PA. Funeral Arrangements have been placed in the care of the Parambo Funeral Home of Summit Hill, PA. Online Condolences may be shared at www.parambofh.com.
