Veronica D. Kempees

Veronica D. Kempees, 89, of Catasauqua, passed away September 16, 2025. She was the wife of Albert Kempees since they wed in 1986. Born in Kingston, PA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna Dyle. She was employed as a medical transcriptionist at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ before her retirement. Veronica was a member of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church of Nazareth. She was a lover of nature, watching golf, but especially enjoyed her grand and great-grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband Bert are sons; Louis Sanders of Harvey, Louisiana and Stuart Sanders of Clearwater, FL, daughters; Eileen DeVincenzo of Whitehall and Arleen Mazowiesky of Patchogue, NY, a sister, Elaine DeMaris of Livingston, NJ, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, as well as a step-son Andrew Kempees and step-daughter Anne Kemp, both of Catasauqua. Veronica was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Dyle, and sisters; Emily Borris, Antoinette Fitzgerald, and Louise Wilmot. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00 AM in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the service begins.
