Virginia Hutchinson Carver, 93, of Newtown, PA, died on April 4, 2025 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Virginia was a lifelong resident of Newtown. Ginny attended St. Andrew School and she graduated from St Mary's Cathedral High School, Trenton, NJ. She worked for several years at Griffith Electric, Butting's Jewelry Store before working at the Council Rock High School as a server and cashier for over 30 years. Ginny was a lifelong parishioner of the Church of St. Andrew and she and her late husband Frank were dedicated to the restoration of the Olde Church of St. Andrew on Sycamore Street. She enjoyed her house on Long Beach Island for many summers with her family and friends. Ginny was an active Bingo player every week at Gloria Dei residence. Ginny is the daughter of the late Earl and Frances Hutchinson, wife of the late Franklin C. Carver, Sr., mother of the late Franklin C. Carver, Jr. and sister of the late Taylor, Charlotte. Sister Claire, Immaculate Heart of Mary, Earl "Brud" Hutchinson and Jane Fitzpatrick. She is survived by her daughters, Linda and her husband Greg Goll, Susan VanderWyck, Judy Carver and son in law Roy VanderWyck. She is the proud grandmother of Greg Heydet, Kristi Shinn, Erica Clinefelter, David and Jacob VanderWyck, Devin Clinefelter, Molly Pidcock and Franklin Carver,Maiolino III and the great grandmother of Parker, Harley, Ollie, Elliot, Tenley, Brynnleigh, Hazel and Evelyn. She is also survived by her sisters, Marie Hutchinson and Anne (Ross) Hendricks and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Ginny's Life Celebration on Sunday, April 13 from 4 to 7 PM at the Swartz Givnish Funeral Home, 323 Washington Ave, Newtown, PA and to her Funeral Mass on Monday, April 14 at 11 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown.
