Warren "Sonny" Gressley

Warren "Sonny" Gressley, 88 years, of Danielsville, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born in Guth's Station, he was a son of the late Oliver and Minnie (Kern) Gressley He was a laborer, for many years for the former Penn Linen, Co. and previously a laborer for various warehouses and was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield. Sonny was a premier Steel Guitar player for close to 60 years, in various Country and Western bands in the Lehigh Valley and Poconos Region, notably the Arizona Ramblers and Country Gold. Sonny honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was predeceased by his companion of 40 years, Evelyn Longenbach along with his siblings, Dorothy Gressley, Beulah Feinour, Oliver Gressley, Jr., LeRoy Gressley, Erma Gressley, Elmer Gressley, Hilda Rau, Verna Gressley, Lucille Frey, and stepbrothers, Lawrence and Raymond Gallagher. Sonny is survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 1 at Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Rd, Orefield, with a visitation from 10 to 11 AM. Interment, Church Cemetery.
