Wency Torres, 74, of Allentown passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Maria Teresa Renza Torres. Wency was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico on December 11, 1950 to the late Felicita Torres. He was the proud owner and operator of Guayanilla Auto Shop in Bethlehem, PA where he dedicated many years to serving his community. Wency was a member of Church of God Ministry of Jesus Christ International in Bethlehem, PA.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 38 years; children: Jessica Torres, Wendy Torres, Helen Torres, Julian Holguin, Wency Torres, Cynthia Torres, Edwin Liggon (son-in- law), Theresa O'Brien, Tyler O'Brien (son-in-law); sisters: Helen Maldonado and Luz S. Feliciano; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers: Edwin Torres and Armando Maldonaldo.
Services: Friends and family are invited to his viewing from 3-4pm Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA followed by a service at 4pm. Online condolences may be offered www.connelfuneral.com
