Rita Stoll Matyas Obituary
Rita M. Stoll Matyas, 84, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Friday March 27, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Kula) Borowski. She was the wife of Robert J. Matyas, and they were married for 23 years on May 1st of last year. Rita was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She worked at Bethlehem Steel Saucon Metallurgical for 14 years and worked at KidsPeace for 24 years. She retired in 2006.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert, and a son, Robert Stoll. She was predeceased by a sister, Bernadine McBride
A viewing will be held from 11-12 pm Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a service at 12 noon. The burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St. Bethlehem, PA 18020
