Harold W. "Bill" Tice

Harold W. “Bill” Tice, 76, formerly of Paradise, PA, passed away at Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, PA, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.

He was born in West Grove, PA, the son of the late Harold A. and Helen (Haney) Tice, and graduated from Octorara High School, Class of 1970.

Bill worked on several dairy farms in his early life for his neighbor Dave Light, Bob Mills and on Sundays for Lindsay Webster.

He previously worshipped at Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church in Cochranville, PA, and Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Gap, PA.

Bill enjoyed riding bicycle, listening to oldies on Radio 92.1 WVLT in Vineland, NJ, talking on his CB Radio using the handle “Sonny Boy,” and attending family reunions with good meals. He was one to eat everything and not have leftovers.

Surviving Bill are his sister Cynthia T, wife of Michael L. Urbanik of Peach Bottom, PA, two nieces, one nephew, three great nieces and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Edward A. Tice who just passed away March 14, 2026, and his companion Doris L. Rife who passed in 2017.

A viewing will take place Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, followed by the funeral at 10:30 AM with Pastor Blake Deibler officiating, at Bachman Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 7 S. Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579. Interment will be in Calvary Monument Cemetery.
