Adam Nicholas Obituary
Adam N. Nicholas, 51, of East Hartland passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 8, 2025. Born in Bristol on June 10, 1974, the son of Robert N. Nicholas and Glory A. Nicholas. Adam attended local schools and was a 1992 graduate of Northwest Regional #7 High School in Winsted.
At the time of his passing, Adam had recently completed his 28th year working as a lineman for Frontier Communications.
Adam's greatest joy was watching his daughter Brenna play in all her sports. He was her biggest fan and never missed a game.
Time with family and friends was very precious to him. This included going on vacations with his family, spending time in New Hampshire, giving everyone rides in his boat, golfing with his buddies and skiing in Colorado. He also enjoyed being an assistant coach for girls softball in Hartland for years.
One thing we can say about Adam is that he could fix anything or figure out how to do something. We were all in good hands.
Adam is survived by his wife of 21 years, Tara (Alemoni) Nicholas of East Hartland, his daughter, Brenna Shea Nicholas of East Hartland, his mother, Glory A. Nicholas of Collinsville, his sister, Amanda L. Nicholas of Avon, his niece, Kayla Boyce of Florida, his nephew, Rocco Semeraro of Avon, his aunt Holley and uncle Ed Madore of Bristol and his closest cousins Ryan and Nick Krampitz.
His special friends included Joe Giantonio, Jeff Pirro, Russ Potter, Rusty Dzielak, Gordy Crunden, Tom Burke, Shane Ryan, Dan Burnham, Ken O'Connor and Tony Adams.
Adam was predeceased by his father, Robert N. Nicholas, his grandfather, Freddy Marcotte and his grandmother, Augustine Marcotte.
Adam's family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 4-6PM at Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook Street, Granby, CT 06035. A Celebration of Adams's life will begin at Carmon's at 6PM and conclude at the Cambridge House Brew Pub across the street. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
