Adelina Parente

Adelina (Camarca) Parente, 84, of East Windsor, loving wife of 59 years to Emilio Parente, passed away peacefully at her home on April 28th, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on November 13, 1940, in Bisaccia, Italy. Adelina lived vibrantly, having never lost her curiosity and zest for life. She loved with her whole heart and found beauty in the little things in life. She immigrated to the United States in 1964 and married her husband, Emilio on June 12, 1965. She worked as a seamstress for many years before working with her husband at their business, Harken's Market in East Windsor. She was a loving wife, friend, and above all else, a devoted mother to Maryanne Sanderson (Timothy), Emily Parente (Troy Rowland), Denise Davies (Robert) and a beloved Nonna to six cherished grandchildren, Vincent Breton, Gianni Breton, Elena Sanderson, Lucas Gilbert, Ava Gilbert, and Gabriel Davies. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three siblings. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Marianne Cope Parish – St. Philip Church, 150 S.
