Alice Jane Clodfelter

Alice Jane (Halligan) Clodfelter, 63, of Middletown, CT, passed away on September 13, 2025. Alice was born April 2, 1962, and spent most of her life in Wallingford. She was the youngest child of the late William and Cornelia (Quinlan) Halligan. Alice spent the last few years of her life fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer while always keeping a smile on her face and hope in her heart. Nothing brought Alice more joy than being a Grammy. She was happiest at the beach and listening to music. Creating memories was very important to her, some of greatest moments were Easter egg hunts, Trick or Treating, and Christmas mornings. Alice had a resilient sense of humor, often making others smile with her ability to laugh in the hardest moments. Her love was unwavering, her spirit was light, and her presence brought comfort to everyone who knew her. She was the proud mother of Cassie and Kristina Clodfelter, and the adoring Grammy of her precious Rosie. She is survived by her siblings, Jack Halligan and Cornelia Mislick; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Michael Halligan, Kathy Polnar, Peggy Young, and Brian Halligan. Although she will be deeply missed, Alice touched the lives of many and she will forever be in our hearts. Alice's family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Thursday, September 25th, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. At 6:30pm her family will share eulogies and memories. Interment will be private. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT.
