Ann Guertin Obituary

Ann Marie (Bielanski) Guertin, 70, of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday May 8, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 28, 1955 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Josephine (Winiarski) Bielanski. Ann was a retired secretary for the City of Chicopee at Anna E Barry School. She was the backbone of her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Wherever she was, you could always find Ann decked out in glitter, leopard print or something patriotic. She loved spending time with her family, making Sunday dinner, jamming out to her favorite music and going to Big Y. Ann is survived by her loving husband, Drew G. Guertin of forty eight years; her son, Gregory Guertin and his wife, Charlene of Chicopee; two daughters, Lisa Guertin of Tucson, AZ and Danielle Syrek and her husband, Max of Chicopee; her sister, Eileen Krupczak and her husband, Steve of North Charleston, SC and her brother, John Bielanski of Chicopee and five cherished grandchildren, Lily, Niko, Lacey, Bella and Anjali. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Michael Bielanski. Calling hours are on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 3 to 6 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
