Ann Marie Wagner

Ann Marie (Ferrari) Wagner, age 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in the VITAS unit at Saint Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Mark Wagner. Born on March 8, 1948 in Waterbury, Ann was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ann (Accousti) Ferrari. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and worked as a dispatcher for the Wolcott Police Department for over 30 years. Ann enjoyed playing poker with family and friends and trips to the casino with her sisters. When at home, Ann loved to watch Turner Classic Movies. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, helping her son Chris raise his son Gabe, who was the light of her life. Ann is survived by her son Chris Wagner and her beloved grandson Gabe Wagner; both of Wolcott. She also leaves her brothers Daniel Ferrari of Northfield and Robert Ferrari (Deborah) of Waterbury, and her sisters Ellen Mercier (Richard) of Waterbury and Carol White (Edward). In addition to her husband, Ann was predeceased by her sister Christine Grochowski. Calling hours for Ann will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 9:00am-11:00am with a service beginning at 11:00am at Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Wolcott.
