Anna Anastasio Obituary

Anna C. Perrotti Anastasio, 91, of Bethany, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 67 years to Anthony Anastasio. Anna was born in Woodbridge on July 16, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine Ferraro Perrotti. She was a graduate of Wagner College School of Nursing. She had worked as an assistant chief of nursing at the VA Hospital in West Haven for over 40 years. Anna was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Woodbridge and would say a Novena regularly. She enjoyed traveling with her family and would go to Newport annually. Anna and her husband enjoyed following the women's UConn basketball team. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandsons who she loved unconditionally. Beloved mother of Cheryl Anastasio (James Kennedy) and Anthony Anastasio Jr. Loving grandmother of Raymond and Robert Anastasio. Sister of Nicholas Perrotti (MaryEllen) and the late Marie Thomas, Pasquale, Frank Jr., and Joseph Perrotti. Also survived by her former daughter-in-law Lisa Oak, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The visiting hours will be Friday, February 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Road, Woodbridge on Saturday morning at 11:00 to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in St. Lawrence Cemetery.

My deepest condolences to the Perrotti and Anastasio families. I knew Anna as my friends' sister (Marie Perrotti Thomas and Pat Perrotti) and the mother of my Woodbridge colleague, Anthony Anastasio, Jr. Many memories of many happy days with this warm and welcoming family. God's peace to all.

Aunt Anne,
I will never forget how you and Uncle Tony took me (Patty Ann) the park when I was little. I remember as a young girl going to your wedding. And as an adult, enjoying our fun together at the casinos. You are already so missed and will always be loved by us all.

I had the enormous privilege of working with Ann for many years at the VA Hospital in West Haven. She was a wonderful person. She impressed me as one of the most compassionate, caring, and gifted Nurses and Nursing Administrators employed by the VA. The Veterans she took care of for so many years were blessed to have known her, as was I. May she rest in peace. My sincere sympathy to Tony and her entire family. God bless you all
