Burton P. Aubin

Burton was a Corporal in US Army and served in the Korean War. After his discharge he settled in Windsor Connecticut where he married and raised his family. A Master Printer by trade, he worked for Connecticut Printers in Bloomfield CT for many years, Sweet Printing Co, Glastonbury CT and Aetna in Windsor CT untill retirement. Burton was an Lifetime Member of VFW Post 4740 in Windsor CT serving as Chaplin then as Post Commander 1992-1994 He was a member of the American Legion Post 59 Windsor CT and Post 318 Port St. Lucie FL. One highlight in Burt's life was attending the Heroes Tour with other Korean War Veterns in 2017. Veterns were flown to Washington DC where they toured the Whitehouse, visited Memorials and Arlington National Cemetary. They were honored in ceremony for their service to our Country. Burton was pre-deceased by his wife Rose Dallessio Aubin. He is survived by his children Donna Andruskiwec and Norman Aubin of Orange CT, three grandchildren Brian Andruskiwec of New Haven CT, Rebecca Andruskiwec of Orlando Fl, Danielle Andruskiwec of Somerville MA, his Sister in law Virginia Aubin of Brunswick ME and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service with full military honors will take place on Friday October 24, 2025 at 11AM at Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery, East Street, Windsor, CT 06095.
