Carl Fazzio

Carl Fazzio, age 62 of Branford passed away suddenly September 17, 2025. He was born in Meriden, CT, the son of Carmen and Angeline Ferreri Fazzio of Cheshire, formerly of Meriden. Carl attended Maloney High School and then received his BA from Southern Connecticut State University. For many years, Carl was an educator in New Haven, where he shared his knowledge and love of learning. His greatest passion, however, was music. A talented bass and guitar player, Carl found joy not only in playing but also in teaching others to appreciate and create music. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his longtime companion Marie Bassett of Branford, his brother James Fazzio and his wife Karla of Florida, and his nephews Daniel Fazzio, Nicholas Fazzio and Steven Fazzio and his wife Rachel. Carl's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday September 22nd from 10:00 – 11:30am at the Wallingford Funeral Home 809 N. Main St. Ext. Wallingford. A Funeral Service will then commence at the funeral home at 11:30am. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
