Correne Wahler

Correne (Myers) Wahler, 89, of Meriden, CT, loving wife of the late Raymond Wahler, passed away peacefully October 1, 2025, at Skyview Nursing Home in Wallingford, CT. Correne was born in Del Rio, TN on September 21, 1936, daughter to the late Benjamin and Opal Myers. Correne retired from Town Fair Tire where she was gainfully employed for more than 35 years. The owners, her colleagues and employees were her second family. She loved her job and was loyal and dedicated beyond words. Survivors include her loving son, Robert Wahler of Meriden, CT, and preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Margison. Her son in law, Wayne Margison, grandchildren, Greg and Jason, great grandchildren, Carter and Landon, her brother, Larry Myers, and preceded in death by her brothers Cary Myers and Sheldon Myers. Her nephews, Barry and Benjamin Myers and niece Lori Myers. Correne's family will received relatives and friends on Friday October 10th at the Wallingford Funeral Home 809 N. Main St., Ext. Wallingford from 4:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Service will commence at the funeral home at 6:30pm. Interment will be private.
