Craig Tuttle Obituary

OXFORD: Craig E. Tuttle, age 68 of Oxford, beloved husband of Maria (Beletsky) Tuttle, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by family. Born in Derby on May 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Eleanor (Whiteley) Tuttle. A retired software engineer for Penguin Random House, Craig was very involved with his Oxford community. He was an active member of the Great Hill United Methodist Church, was a Sunday School Teacher and Board Member, and could be found watching and supporting the Oxford Wolverine's Football team. Craig was very generous with his time, as well as his compassion and was especially known for his great big hugs. Craig fought bravely against Parkinson's Disease and even found the strength to play competitive ping-pong against other Parkinson's Disease patients. His compassion followed even after his passing by being an organ donor for Parkinson's research to help those affected battle the disease in the future. Family was most important to Craig, and he loved spending time with Maria, as well as his children and friends. He loved reading, and playing fantasy football with those closest to him. He will be greatly missed. In addition to his loving wife Maria of 45 years, survivors include his cherished children, Eric Tuttle of Milford, Ryan Tuttle of Oxford, and Stacey Curran and her husband Tom of Seymour; his daughter-in-law, Katherine Fleming; brother, Ken Tuttle, Jr. and his wife Nancy; nephews, Scott and Mark Tuttle, several cousins, as well as his dear friend, Ken Tingley. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11am DIRECTLY in the Great Hill United Methodist Church, 225 Great Hill Rd. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
