Deborah DeLamotte Obituary

Deborah C. (Zononi) DeLamotte, 69, passed away at Cooley Dickinson Hospital on February 2, 2025. Born on April 20, 1955, she is the daughter of Claire (Davio) Zononi, and the late Charles G. Zononi. Deb was raised in Hatfield. She was a graduate of Saint Michael's High School in Northampton, then she went onto Smith Vocational in the nursing program where she received her LPN. Deborah always enjoyed taking care of others, she spent her whole career at the VA in Leeds for over 45 years as a nurse. She met her husband Rudolph John DeLamotte Jr. at the VA through work. They were married in September 2007 and have spent over 17 wonderful years together. In her younger years, Deb loved to bowl, she traveled with her bowling league. She loved to cook Italian meals and share them with others. Throughout her life, she enjoyed being on the beach, where she loved to soak up the sun. She will be dearly missed by her mother Claire Zononi of Easthampton, her husband, Rudy DeLamotte of Easthampton, her brother Charles Zononi, Jr of Hatfield and her two loving sisters, Carol LaValle of Southampton and Dawn Zononi of Easthampton. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and her cats Savvy and Angel. All are welcome to join the family on Monday February 10th from 9 to 10 AM at the Boucher - O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St., Easthampton. A cemetery committal will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, Northampton. Memorial donations may be made to the VA in Leeds.

Debbie was a very special person that I grew up with and have many fond memories of the time that her and the rest of our classmates had together growing up in a small town you get to know everyone that you went to school with through activities sports and daily classes you become close friends and stick together through everything that you did together. Debbie was one of the good ones and will be missed dearly by all. RIP kid
